Data Deletion

Last updated June 23, 2026

You own your data, and you can remove it whenever you like. Here is how to delete your Postd account and everything in it, either yourself or by asking us.

Delete your account yourself

The fastest way to remove your data is from inside Postd:

  • Sign in to Postd.
  • Go to Settings, then Billing.
  • Choose Delete account and confirm.

This removes your account and your business data right away. It cannot be undone, so export anything you want to keep first.

Ask us to delete your data

If you cannot sign in, or you would rather we handle it, send a request to info@postd.app from the email address on your account. Please include:

  • The email address you use for Postd.
  • Your business name, so we can find the right workspace.
  • That you want your data deleted.

We will confirm when it is done. We may need to check that the request is really from you before we delete anything, to keep your account safe.

Disconnect a social account

If you only want to remove Postd’s access to a connected social account, open the Connections page in Postd and disconnect it. That removes our permission to post to that account going forward. You can also remove Postd from the settings of the social platform itself. Disconnecting an account does not delete the rest of your Postd data, so use one of the steps above if you want everything removed.

What gets deleted

When you delete your account, we remove:

  • Your account and profile.
  • Your Brand Guide, posting preferences, and business details.
  • Your posts, captions, and any photos, graphics, and videos you stored.
  • Your connected-account permissions.

Your subscription is also canceled, so you are not billed again. We may keep a limited amount of billing history where the law requires it, and routine backups are cleared on a rolling schedule.

How long it takes

Deleting from Settings happens immediately. Email requests are completed within 30 days, and usually much sooner. If anything is held longer because the law requires it, we will tell you what and why.
